Anvita Gupta

Anvita Gupta is from Scottsdale, Arizona in the United States. She is currently a masters student studying Computer Science at Stanford University and an Artificial Intelligence researcher and entrepreneur. Her research in the space has been recognized by national and international organizations (Siemens International Science Fair competition, Intel Science Talent Search, International BioGENEius Challenge). Anvita has presented her work on AI and drug discovery to President Obama at the 2015 White House Science fair, where she was invited to join the president’s precision medicine initiative. Anvita is also the founder and CEO of LITAS for Girls, a 501(c)(3) international organization guiding young women in computer science, with chapters in more than six cities in the US and India, Singapore, and Montenegro. She was also the 2017-2018 president of Stanford Women in Computer Science.

Suhani Patel

Suhani Patel is on the curriculum development and events team of LITAS For Girls. Suhani is a senior at Mountain Ridge High School in Phoenix, Arizona interested in pursuing computer science and civil engineering in college. She founded her own non-profit, Tech for Tails, that is aimed at increasing technology awareness and education within her community. She believes that all students, regardless of social status, should have the opportunity to learn more about technology, as technology has taken over today's top industries.

Anisha is a freshman in MCM DAV and an alumni from LITAS chapter in CL DAV, Sector 11, Panchkula. With a keen interest in creative writing, she believes in doing every thing possible to create equal opportunities for girls from all strata of the society. She firmly believes it is important for women to break gender barriers and foray into traditionally male dominant roles.
